5-11-07: Ocean Boulevard: The City of Myrtle Beach has been
working over the past few years to beautify the street by placing utility
wires underground. Parts of Ocean Boulevard have already been buried.
5-7-07: Floor Plan for Mackerel Cottage and Sailfish
cottage now online.
3-10-07: AFR has acquired 2 more oceanfront condos. 1 bedroom and a two
bedroom.
03-14-06: AFR has bought an Oceanfront condo located just across the street.
This corner unit condo is located on the 14th floor with panoramic view of the
ocean.
The Pompano Cottage currently 1st and 2nd floor will be change to 2 separate
Cottages. The Pompano will still be the 2nd floor. The Little Pompano on the 3rd
floor will change it's name to Sailfish, and the 1st floor will now be the new
unit called Mackerel.
Children's Activity pool has been
updated. It now has a new deck, freshly painted, and a new new toy to play with
that dumps water.
Dolphin, Marlin, Wahoo cottage and Children's activity pool will be open for
the 2005 season. The Marlin and Wahoo cottage have already been updated
with new carpet, paint.

Pet Policy
 We understand that you may not be able to board your
pet. So we offer a pet fee of $30.00 per pet per day. (September through March $15.00
per pet per night). Pets may not be left in the room unattended. Go to this link to review
the city of Myrtle Beach animal laws. Sec. 4-8 and Sec. 4-9 apply to

- No Pitt Bulls, Bullmastiff, Dobermans, Rottweilers.
- Any pet acting aggressive to other guest and or staff
can be ask to leave with refund.
- No reptiles. No Birds.
- No more than two pets.
- Pet must be on-leash in public areas
- Pets not allowed in pool and or pool areas.
- Owner must clean up after pet at all times anywhere
on property.
- Pet must be in kennel/carrier when occupants are out
for their safety and others.
- Affordable Family Resort is not responsible for lost
pets.
- As always pet owners are liable for his or her pets.
